This is the final stop on the PM health line. We talked about financial and client health. Now, let’s talk about the team health.
Making sure your team is working on your projects and are satisfied (as much as you can control) is necessary for the success of the project. These are your resources and if they breakdown, then your project breaks down. The team should have all necessary knowledge and tools in order to do their job. These include:
- Agency Teams Structure
- Training & Development
- Agency Tools (such as submitting timesheets, software, etc)
- Creative Resourcing
- Internal Creative & Technical Guidelines
- Clear Internal Project Gates/Handoff Requirements Process
- Status Reporting (Internal)
- Internal Server Structure/database
You may look at the list and think some of the above things are not necessary. But ever worked on a project and you can’t get necessary files? Pretty frustrating, that’s why infrastructures like servers and having file organized can help with transition and onboarding efforts. Any other items you would want to see on the list?
