As project managers, we are always on the go between meeting and deadlines, who has time to eat?
But we must eat. I know I do. I’m like a 10 month old baby on an empty stomach. Here are some tips on keeping your body fueled without running to the vending machine:
Always eat breakfast– You can either prepare some boiled eggs or instant oatmeal, perfect for on the go
Bring snacks– Not chips, but fruit like grapes, strawberries, cut apples or even a granola bar. These are perfect because you can bring it on a client call, provided it’s on the phone and not Skype. It won’t make crunchy noises or smell the entire room.
Bring lunch– A sure way of making sure you have a balanced meal and not running to the nearest fast food restaurant. You can make things like salads and sandwiches in advance or bring yesterday’s dinner. The good thing with sandwiches and salads, you can also bring them with you during meetings and it’s not too distracting.
In upcoming posts, I will talk about creating a meal plan and try out some new recipes. Be sure to check them out soon.
